Welcome to the ‘Team Edge’ website. By taking a closer look inside you will gain an insight into the horses, owners, sponsors and back up team that make Ruth Edge (nee Friend), a Five Star winning Event Rider, and one of the leading competition riders in the country, both in dressage and eventing.

Ruth is also a highly esteemed coach in both disciplines, training riders away from competition and at events.

About Ruth

Ruth currently competes her horses out of great friend and fellow event rider Jeanette Brakewell’s Abbotsholme Stud, while she establishes facilities for training competition horses at her new home. She is also in demand by a growing clientele of riders whom she trains either at Jeanette’s yard or at clinics across the country. Ruth is a British Eventing Accredited Trainer.

A winner at the very top level of Eventing, Ruth also has six National Dressage Titles to her name. To succeed at the top level in both sports is rare. She now balances both sports in pursuit of success.

Horse Ownership

Ruth is looking for new owners as she works to achieve further success in both Dressage and Eventing. She is looking for investors to help realise her goals and has a number of packages available to interested parties.
